“ Staying at the top is not the same as reaching the top”
Many individuals reach the top however very few individuals stay at the top because the accountability of themselves or their team starts to deteriorate once they reached the top.
What is the deterioration of Accountability?
An Example of deterioration Accountability is when people perform at the highest level, especially in business, sometimes the boss or the person above them will say that because their numbers are so good, they will not be held accountable. This will now develop a little crack and that crack will get bigger which means that the person who brings those high numbers will then become complacent and will not perform at those high levels.
Michael Jordan has said in The Last Dance “ I will not ask you to do something that I have not or will do myself”. This is the greatest basketball player we are talking about and he still keeps himself accountable.
When you finally reach the top of the mountain at the pinnacle, you put your arms out and start looking down and feel good that you have finally reached the top. These are all great things however should NOT exhale because the air is so much thinner at the top than it is on the journey to the top. The next breath that you have to catch will not have the same effect which means that you will need to keep breathing over and over and over again. That is why you see CEOs leave a company, and “retire” but a year later they join another company. Elon Musk is a great example of this because for an average person I can guarantee that if they had 10% of his success they would have retired but because Elon knows that if he becomes complacent then he will never untap his full potential. They just cannot exhale!
Stop being soft!
A massive weakness in our generation is that nowadays people are so soft. Michael jordan will cuss out his teammates so they can work harder and be better. Nowadays, if you tell someone to go gym they will assume that you called them a fat person, and start going on Twitter and cancelling you. Too soft!. You need to learn to take criticism from people that are doing better than you because whoever is giving you advice wants the best out of you. Initially, you might say that it is toxic blah blah but when you see the result then you will understand why that person says what he says.
When you gift a rose or any type of flower, you cut the thrones of which leads to a shorter lifespan so a lot of individuals that have those thorns in their life have allowed you to propel yourself further in life than you would have by yourself. You do not miss it until you go to a place where they do not push you and motivate you and that thorn is no longer there.

Good morning Family, after reading this newsletter this bright and early morning I must say I enjoyed it. I like this newsletter as it teaches us to be accountable through our doings but to stop being SOFT!!
